ABOUT BAREFOOT® SADDLES

The Barefoot® Treeless Saddle was designed by German Equine Physiotherapist , Sabine Ullmann.  During her years working on horses with saddle related back problems, she decided to use her knowledge to create her own line of high quality saddles.   Unlike a traditional 'treed saddle'  they are totally flexible and move with the horse adjusting to the horses back in all directions.  Because there is no constricting barrier of a stiff tree a horse can move more freely.  

Barefoot®Saddles are also beneficial for riders with back pain because the saddles are so soft and cause less jarring.  The close contact is advantageous to both beginning and experienced riders, enhancing the ablity to feel the horse and in finding your rhythm and balance with him.
