Barefoot Dressage Sheepskin Girth

The Barefoot Sheepskin Dressage Girth is super soft for sensitive girth positions.

The Barefoot Sheepskin Dressage Girth is made out of two components: pure sheepskin attached by Velcro to a nylon girth.


The Velcro firmly secures the two parts but allows for the sheepskin to be easily removed for washing and also allows for the position of the girth buckles to be slightly varied.


The sheepskin lining is slightly wider than girth which helps distribute pressure and chaffing.

Sheepskin acts as a anti-allergen and minimizes fungal attacks which can often be found in the delicate girth area. The girth is ideal for sensitive skin and delicate girth areas as the fur can absorb movement and therefore helps prevent bruising, chaffing and pressure sores.

Fully breathable, sheepskin helps to wick away sweat and regulate humidity especially in summer.

The nylon girth has elasticated, tearproof straps on one side to allow the horse to breathe easily.

Sheepskin is a natural product, small variances in color and length of the fur is therefore normal. Please do not dry in direct sunshine and wash with special detergents. Lay flat after washing.
